This section will be a teaser section of what we are planning for the new Virtex story. The main idea is that it does NOT pick up where either the comic or the animation left off. This new story will take place 5 years after the last animated episode that Jeff and I count as “in continuity”

We have enlisted TeeJay Frias with us to draw this story – Teejay worked with Jeff and I on design work for the animated Virtex episodes and always wanted to work with him again on some more traditional comic work. TeeJay is an amazing talent and as you will see by his cover and interior art on this story.

While I hate spoilers for movies or comics I want to read (I’ve kept myself blind and dumb from 90% of the JLA/Avengers gossip) we did want to show off something for the retailers out there who are visiting and to give something to the fans who are awaiting this new story.

While I won’t give away any story details – we will feature some of TeeJay’s sketchbook and other tidbits to show you what is going on in the background and will update on a bi-weekly basis.

So check out what will be a “silent preview” and get ready to see the finished product in December.
